I could not yet have a closer look at the research blog Motivate.Play. but the topics sound interesting. Especially the entry ‘Eight Mechanics to Enhance Cooperation in Multiplayer Games’ caught my eye.

The about page says that the blog wants to ‘bridge between the gaming and scientific communities, offering analysis and commentary on games from a social sciences perspective’. And I think this could be interesting for some people I know.
